Michi Gaub
Teaching Pastor
Meet our Teaching Pastor and one of our team leaders, Michi Gaub!
Michi has been part of Crossroads Church since 2015, first as a student and later as a part of the leadership team in 2022. He went on to study at Edinburgh Theological Seminary. He and Kate were married in November of 2025.
You will see him teaching on Sundays, leading Life and Youth Groups in the week. As a German, born and raised in Japan, he carries a heart for people all over the world experiencing the love of Jesus.

Michi enjoys playing sports, hiking, stories in all kinds of mediums and doing handcrafts of all sorts.

Executive Pastor
Meet our Executive Pastor and one of our team leaders, Michael Thomas!
Michael, Erin and their boys moved to Edinburgh in 2020, leaving behind their lives in the US to come and work for Crossroads Church. Michael worked for 14 years as an actuary in the corporate world prior to making the leap into ministry.
“God wastes nothing and it is amazing to see how the Lord takes all of our past experiences and uses them for His glory. It has been special to see the role that He wants me to play in leading Crossroads Church.”
Michael enjoys spending time with his family, taking walks around Edinburgh, and exploring as much of Scotland as possible!
